PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin)
PRF is a naturally occurring substance found in our blood that is full of healing and rejuvenating properties.
This treatment requires your injector to draw a small sample of your blood and place it in a centrifuge. The blood then separates and the PRF is extracted.
PRF is injected into the skin creating a fibrin matrix under the skin that releases growth factors, white blood cells and platelets over the next 7-10 days. This matrix creates regeneration of tissue through increased collagen, elastin and blood flow.
The result: youthful, rejuvenated skin with improvement to scars (including acne scarring), fine lines, wrinkles, decreased under-eye darkness, and increased skin elasticity.
PRF can also be used to regenerate hair growth on the scalp. Note: studies show that PRF is more effective on hair that has started thinning rather than complete baldness.
